Investing in Knowledge: Three days of technical education, industry collaboration, and innovation in Webster, Texas.
The PCI Controls team recently traveled to Webster, Texas, from May 12–14 to participate in ARI-Armaturen's Steam Training 101, an immersive educational program focused on steam systems, applications, and best practices.
At PCI Controls, we believe that investing in education is one of the most valuable ways we can continue delivering exceptional service to our customers. As technologies evolve and industrial processes become more advanced, expanding our technical knowledge allows us to provide informed recommendations, solve complex challenges, and remain a trusted resource for the industries we serve.
Throughout the three-day training, our team gained a deeper understanding of steam fundamentals, condensate management, pressure reduction, control strategies, and system optimization. The hands-on instruction and expert-led discussions reinforced practical solutions that can help improve system performance, efficiency, reliability, and safety for our customers.
Beyond the classroom, the experience also provided an opportunity to strengthen our partnership with the outstanding team at ARI-Armaturen. We are grateful for their hospitality, technical expertise, and commitment to sharing knowledge with their representative network. (And yes—we've officially been introduced to Texas kolaches, which quickly became a favorite!)
One of the attendees, Paige Suhayda, Director of Digital Experience, shared:
"Thank you to the ARI team for an incredibly valuable training experience. The knowledge shared will help us better serve our customers, and we're proud to partner with an organization that invests so heavily in education and industry expertise."

While in the Houston area, the team also made time to visit NASA's Johnson Space Center, a fitting stop that served as a reminder of how innovation, engineering, and continuous learning drive progress across every industry. Seeing decades of technological achievement firsthand was both inspiring and a perfect complement to a week dedicated to expanding our own technical expertise.
As PCI Controls continues to grow, so does our commitment to professional development. Training opportunities like Steam Training 101 ensure our team stays current with the latest technologies, industry standards, and best practices—ultimately allowing us to better support our customers with confidence and technical excellence.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to ARI-Armaturen for hosting such a valuable program. We look forward to applying what we've learned and continuing to strengthen our partnership for years to come.
Warm Regards,

The PCI Controls Team | Greater Pittsburgh Office
